A Royal Affair

While the world tuned into the Royal Wedding, all eyes were on Kate. The stunning Duchess of Cambridge had us blown away in her dazzling dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The antique ivory lace floral applique, deep v-neckline & satin train measured to be over 2 meters long was sure an aisle show-stopper. Fit for a real modern day princess.

Kate made a gown change for the evening celebrations at Buckingham Palace.
Also designed by Sarah Burton, Kate had our jaws dropped in this strapless, sweet heart shaped-top & satin gown number. With diamante detailing at the waist,  it added just the right amount of sparkle to top off the exquisite gown.

The Cartier Halo tiara worn as her "Something Borrowed" lent by the Queen. Made in 1936, given as an 18th birthday gift by the parents of Queen Elizabeth II.
Kate's earrings paired to the tiara, a wedding gift given to her by her parents. The corn motifs symbolize the Middleton-Family crest. And were custom made by Robinson Pelham.

This 18-carat Sapphire is centred by 14 diamonds and was estimated at the cost of $60,000 in 1981 when placed on Princess Diana's ring finger. But its net worth is now well over $500,000 sitting on Kate's.

Needless to say, she looked like royalty!
